Comparing C-41 chemistry brands

Is there any practical difference in image quality (color balance, etc) between Kodak, Fuji, and Bellini C-41 kits? I've been considering getting the Bellini starter + 20L C-41 chems.

I assume that since the C-41 formulas are well known, there's no significant difference - but you know what they say about assumption

It's basically all the same.

C41 is a standarized process with fixed processing times, so the space for variations is limited. Mainly driven to improve shelf life (oxidation) of concentrates and working solution.

The differences I have noticed: Color developer from Bellini is mixed from one part with water while Jobo and Kodak use three parts, Digibase three + starter.
And bleach from Jobo (i have read its repacked Fuji x-press?) is dark red, Bellini and Kodaks bleach is light yellow with an acidic smell.
I am pretty sure the deviations in my results are more caused by me than by the different brands, but over all with the Jobo kit i ran into less trouble than Bellini and Kodak. The only kits i avoid are the ones with combined blix.. Digibase (Rollei) I liked much because all the ingredients could be bought seperately, but it seems to be history.
So i would use what you can get....

No, Fuji Hunt Film X-press has not been canceled, or replaced by any other product. That said, Jobo packs are most likely repackaged Japanese Fuji chemicals. It sounds a bit weird using E-6 bleach in C-41. although doing this is technically possible.

With any of these products, I don't assume any remarkable difference in results. This is possible with some "simplified kits" though, due to some shortcuts made by certain manufacturers in their developers, and the problems reusing bleach fix could cause in retaining some of the silver.

There are two variations in C41 bleach and fixer, one faster than the other. The normal C41 with ammonium ferric EDTA bleach (dark red) and ammonium thiosulfate fixer, and the much faster C41RA (Rapid Access) with ammonium ferric PDTA bleach (lime color) and ammonium thiocyanate fixer. Needless to say what type pro labs use...

Tetenal and Jobo is classic C41. Bellini is C41RA. Digibase and Fuji use PDTA bleach but the processing time is much longer than in C41RA (3-6:30 minutes Vs 0,75-1 minute), so I guess it is very diluted in the working solution or missed some accelerator.
