Nothing vague or fence sitting about you! Noone talks much about the 50mm f1:2. The test sites indicate a little lower specs but wow a 1:2 in a tiny camera.
I am leaning toward the 100 length as max for my taste and hand held shooting.
This is a pleasure after struggling to find the promised benefit of digital. Wonderful top line lenses for $2-300 and excellent primes with a working camera attached for $50.
I've decided to find a good cheap 1:8 for my new body coming soon. Local examples are available. Then settle down and search out some deals on some f:2 lenses, say 28 or 35 and 85 to 100 and maybe even a 50 f1:2. The debate between late 1:8 mij and 1:4's indicates very similar lenses probably distinguished be the vagaries of quality control and exceding my abilities.
Camera arrived today, must thank Matt King, very nice camera, could pass for an open box LN.
Wow, I forgot that real viewfinders were once made for slr's. It looks impossible to actually have that view come out of that little camera! I'm delighted with the high tech info in the viewfinder. It is a nice little needle that informs but doesn't intrude.
