Combi-Plan 4x5 racks in 4x5 Kodak hard rubber tank?

I've been thinking about purchasing a 4x5 Combi-Plan system with the idea that I'd use some rubber Kodak tanks I have in a dip & dunk line in the dark. Does anyone know if the Combi-Plan 4x5 rack would fit into the standard 4x5 Kodak hard rubber tank? It's interior dimensions are:

length 6"
width 3.75"
depth 5.875"

Thanks for any help. I'd be especially interested in hearing from folks who have used this kind of set up, but just knowing if the racks fit into the Kodak tanks would be a good start.

I don't know about the Kodak tanks, but I DO know they work fine in Yankee 4x5 tanks. That's the way I did my sheet film until I got the Jobo last month.

I have a combiplan tank and Here are the dimensions for it.

Overall length = 6 5/8"
Width = 2 3/8"
Depth = 5"

Have a look at this page and it shows the rack and I will explain my measurements:

Measured from the bottom of the rack to the TOP crossbar is 5" which appears to me to give you 7/8" clearance for the depth. The width (2 3/8") is for the side pieces which hold the film in place. As far as you 6" measurement for length it looks like you will have a 5/8" piece to hold on to lift the rack for in/out movements.

I got a Yankee tank recently with a 2x3" Busch Pressman that I bought, so I thought I'd use the rack in this way in my 5x7" deep tanks, since I don't particularly like the agitation method of the Yankee tank. It's a 4x5" rack that's adjustable for smaller sheets. I have a Nikor tank with an adjustable stainless reel, but it would be nice to have the Yankee rack for 2x3" sheets and keep the Nikor for 4x5", because adjusting the Nikor reel is kind of delicate.

The rack fits, but one surprise was that it floats, so it has to be held down between agitation cycles. I'd originally put it on a lifter rod, expecting it to sink like a normal stainless reel. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the HP rack, but wear gloves when you try it, in case you have to put your hands in the soup.

Thanks everyone. Looks like it might work. I see that Calumet sells the rack separately for $29. I'll have to call and see which parts are included, looks like the complete film holder assembly from the .pdf link above. That might work for me given that I already have enough Kodak rubber tanks.
