Probably the wrong place to post this but it has to do with colour.. just digital mainly. I'm running into a bit of a brick wall trying to research custom icc profiles and how my raw/managment software interprets the colours I'm shooting. It is probable my explanation is wrong but I know it's possible just need to find someone who's able to help or point me in the right direction. What I'm looking to do is change the way my digital camera interoperates the colour it's seeing. If I shoot on film with the same lens and generic film equivalent everything is off in the digital file. If I was to shoot a colour card on film and then on my Nikon how do I create a custom ICC profile so my camera will see the reds, blues, yellows the same as hue? I know of a Parisian capture company that does this for the big fashion photographers but they keep it so tight lipped. I ultimately hope to print out some C-prints to scan and have some unique ICC profiles I can apply to my raw files in C1pro... Anyone jam with the colour gods or know of editing software where I can play with profiles?
