Fascinating photographs.

As the article states, he was not the first who did such. I myself have prints of earlier photographs taken with a sliding magazine camera.

However the fact that his photographs have been spread via the internet, in a version based on the seperations and not on prints of the time, showed many people that there was practical colour photography long before Kodachrome.
