well, I found that I get better results with my workflow (
here). I have tried vuescan a few times (starting in version 7 or so) with a number of scanners and found it difficult for me to get as good a result, I also had similar issues with Colour Neg (or negpos or what ever its current name is).
For instance, an example using my workflow (
here, where I have 120 6x12 scanned and compared to my digital image {taken as my exposure guide}).
Particularly with 35mm strips on an Espon flatbed once set I can clone that section and paste it over the rest of the images I wish to scan (as per
here). That way all frames of the film are processed the same way
