Colorvir process

Ok simple question, Who here is still applying colorvir treatments to their black and white prints and what is your favorite paper/ formula combination?

I would love to see the results others have achieved using this process so if you have anything your willing to share please scan it in. I'm sure others would also love to see.

this was a really playful toning system It would be a shame to loose it but i am afraid its another thing in my country falling into obscurity.

I have been toying around with two of their toning kits some years ago, the sepia and the blue ones, and had decent results with Ilford Multigrade papers. They last long-ish and are easy to control. I was at a university darkroom back then, and everybody saw them only as 'a fun thing to do'.

I've also had the bigger, full kit of dyes/toners and did a couple of experiments with FB paper [can't recall which type/brand] but they all failed; I could not get uniformity on the prints. I was thinking of grabbing another full kit these days and taking the whole thing seriously.

I heard once from another darkroom technician that it was popular in the 70's amongst photographers wanting to do trippy things for record covers.
can anyone verify this?

Came across your posts re Colorvir recently. I'm still using it.Have been exploring it for several years now.its fun to work with.How have you found it?
