Color in my B&W shot???

This is a shot I took doing a test between My RB67 and my Hassey 500c/m. The film is Tmax 400 and it was developed in
XTOL 1:1 but the sky has blue in it...how did that happen??
I was only scanned on a Epson V500 and nothing done in Photoshop. I didn't even clean up the dust spot.

Is this a scanned, inverted neg. or a scan of a print?

It is a negative scan. It was frame #3. Frame 2 & 4 were also shot at the same location and scanned the same way but they didn't have the color.

This is probably uneven processing which led to retained dyes or some level of retained silver halide. It would be yellowish in the film and blue in the reversed scan. OTOH, some scanners do bias scans in a particular color direction unless you tell it to scan as B&W.

This happens to me when they scan my negatives at Walgreens. They dont put the settings as B&W and their for the scanner tries to place colors for which their are none. This also might be because you didnt fix for enough time. Tmax requires more fixing time then most films, when its underfixed the scans usally come out blue or pink in certain areas.

that happens to me from time to time ..
i NEVER scan film in a black and white setting
always color to pick up the tonality of the film ..
once in a while the scanner interpolates funky b/w tones
as colors ... it can be kind of strange because one would expect
the colors to be off, but often the colors seem to be exactly what they
would be if the image was recorded with color film ...
