Color difference in both formats.

Two photos of a fall scene, one with digital the other with film.
Film has amazing saturation of color whilst digital is more subdued.
Kodak Ektar 100 seems to show much more saturation than the Leica MD.
Is that the character of the film used…

Probably not a fair fight. Ektar is abnormally saturated.

What are we looking at for the digital image? A jpeg with some camera settings, film emulation, or a jpeg of an untouched raw file? It seems it would be easy to match the film scan, I’d wager the info is there.
