Is there a way of color correcting a C41 scan using the "kodak Portra" inscription on the negative?

I am not really sure what you are trying to achieve but if you have Vuescan you might try experimenting with the lock film base color option.

I am trying to use the imprint like a "gray card". Is there a way to set the orange in the letters to the correct RGB value and have the rest of the colors fall into place?
