The Colenta is a fully automatic universal processor operating on the basis of one shot development with fresh solutions.
The machine can be operated under daylight conditions except when loading spools.
The external housing of the Colenata is made of impact resistant thermoplastic and contains the control sections on the left and the processing chamber on the right. The housing itself acs as a water jacket containing approximately 15 gallons.
The processing chamber with the chemical receptacles are arranged on the right. The water in the jacket is thermostatically controlled and circulated around the processing chamber and the chemical receptacles.
The water required for the wash steps is drawn from the water jacket in which the water is kept at the same height by an automatic solenoid valve . . .
(from the instruction manual)
Colenta Processors were made in West Germany and were highly regarded in their day. This machine is believed to be made in 1975. It's been in my garage for a while and it still seems to work just fine!
It comes with three spools which include 2x 11x14, 3x8x10 & 12 x 8x10. Spool were available for roll film and perhaps can be located? The spool shown in the pictures and video is 3x8x10. This would be wonderful machine for 8x10 transparencies!
You can a see a video here. Located in Toronto Canada. This item is pick up only. If you're interested make me an offer!
