Hi all,

I use Foma papers lately because they are good priced. Usually I like neutral to warm look on papers, and Ilford PQ universal is good choice for me. But sometimes I want to get cold look, almost blue to some pictures. Which developer can you recommend me that works fine with Foma FB papers, or eventually RC Fomaspeed (if possible that is available here in Europe: Fotoimpex, Macodirekt or Moersch)? Toners I don't use much.

Thanks!

Edit: so far the only option that I see is Moersch SE6 Blue.

I did some experiments with Foma 312 and various compounds suggested my Michael R., in particular Phenyl Mercaptotetrazole. The differences were somewhat visible, but not breath taking. Expect slightly less warm tone, but no real blue tones. You can get Phenyl Mercaptotetrazole from Fototechnik Suvatlar in case you want to play with it.

One more addendum to my previous report: I tried a few other "cold tone" recipes and couldn't see any change in appearance between Foma 312 processed in these versus Foma 312 developed in standard developer. Phenyl Mercaptotetrazole was the only compound to make any visible difference.
