cokin p series lin pol question

Hi,

Just got a p160 cokin linear polarizer for my camera. This might seem a dumb question but how do i put it in to my cokin holder ? It doesnt fit between the slots like the other filters as its about 2mm too big (big enough so that you wouldnt want to force it). THeres no threads so it doesnt screw on, so what the HELL do i do with it ?????

Look at the holder from the top. You will see the rearmost slot is bigger. Thats where the polariser goes.

Yeah, he's describing the P series. The A series is so much smaller theres no way to mistake one for the other. The round filters for the Series are all a bit bigger than the standard slots, when the filter is slid into the rear slot it pops into a detent in the middle that it can rotate fairly freely in. It keep you from having to worry about the filter falling out or rotating on its own.
