Does anyone still use Cokin Filters,Holders and Adapters?

I just had a large quantity of all of the above given to me and I have no use for them.

Doug

I use them with my large format gear, I have holder and adaptors that fit SVII VIII, then from 49 to 72mm. On occasion I also use them on roll film bodies when shooting landscapes.

They are all I've used since their release, no problems, Give or sell them to a local photographer who will use them, as they were given to you maybe pass on that good will :D

Ian: that is the problem I face. Nobody here in Toronto wants them and I tried to sell them at a photo show this past weekend and no takers.

I'm seriously considering taking them to my local thrift store and leaving them there.

Doug

They should be reasonably inexpensive to ship somewhere, so why not try to sell them through Photrio?

Hello Matt: I'm in the process of organizing a list of what I have and I'll post it in a day or so. There are too many individual filters to shoot images so I might just do specific groups. They all have numbers and descriptions on the plastic cases that house them so I'll give that a go and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.

Doug

If you are in time, a film photo of all of them might be perfect for the current Monthly Shooting Assignment theme of "Patterns"!

Hi, Doug.

I’ve been looking for a filter system like the one you have for my 4x5 and other formats. I would be so grateful to take them off your hands.

Would you mind if I sent you a pm to discuss it further?

I had a nice set of P’s with various accessories. The kit included yellow and red polarized filters. I kick myself for ever selling them whenever I think about it.

I'm interested if you are. I'm in Maryland USA.

I use Cokin & HiTech slot in filters .
A size fir TLRs and range finders , P size for SLRs , DSLRs , mirrorless and some medium format , and the Z-pro size for some medium format and large format .

ND grads , NDs , polarisers , Infrared pass filters , B&W filters , and a few colour correction filters for colour film .

They still have their place , and will continue to be used .

I occasionally use the close up filters , but all the cheesy 80's ones I'd been given and not used are long gone .
