Now there is a name I've not heard in a few years and a man I owe so much to. The first time I saw his prints my initial reaction was he is a living Ansel Adams. Every print was so amazing. I visited him while living in Florida and he was so open about helping to learn the art. He taught me so much. My shooting eye and what I see is a result of him. But, try as I might I could never work up the nerve to go 8x10 and jump into the Everglades. I tend to think a gator would love a juicy treat. He had a few run ins with them.
BTW, his wife is a great artist in her own right. They have a store at their home and it is not unusual to have him in it when you visit it. His home in the Glades is unigue as the land around the area is protected from development.
