Clyde Butcher recovering from a stroke

Sad news posted on Facebook today. Mr. Butcher is one of the biggest inspirations to me as a photographer. Hopefully he is able to recover well.

I plan on sending a postcard with some well wishes.

including myself,this is now the third APUG photographer suffering from a stroke. speedy and full recovery to all.

I heard he's been back to the swamps with a digital camera and modified walker, and his goal is to return with 4x5.

Ralph, if you don't mind I would like to remind our members that if you even THINK that you are having a stroke, get to an emergency room the quickest possible way. If you are wrong, you will have wasted some time and maybe some money but if you are correct you may be there in time to keep from having permanent damage. And if your dcctor has you on "blood thinners", take them as he/she tells you to. Don't ignore symptoms of stroke, it is too important.........Regards!
