What RC paper, that comes in 16X20 would be closest to the Bergger VCCBpaper?

As Bergger don't make paper try Forte, also sold as Adox by Fotoimpex and J&C.

Give John at J&C an email I'm sure he'll point you in the direction of the same paper and at a better price.

Since when don't Bergger make paper???

They may be produced by someone else, but there is definitely a difference between Bergger papers and others. Ask any lith printer, or anyone who received my "black print" in an earlier print exchange.

Ole's quite right "Since when don't Bergger make paper???" because they've always out-sourced.

This worked well for them while they were selling their rebranded papers into markets the original manufacturers were little known in. However the growth of the internet and the vacuum left by Kodak's withdrawal from the market left a void and others reacted faster.

Fotoimpex and J&C selling re-branded Forte papers, Freestyle importing Kentmere papers into the US.

Kentmere & Forte are two main brands rebadged by Bergger. have a look at Kentmere's US site - it has nothing to do with the manufacturer, it belongs to the US importer, it does however give a clear indication of Kentmere's direct equivalents and rivals.

Most of Bergger's papers are not rebranded, but made with Bergger's formulas by someone else.

I don't know if the VCCB is a rebrand, but I know that the Prestige line is not!

Let me better phrase my post. Which RC paper, warm tone semi gloss, gives
nice dark blacks and a good tonal range?
