This is a fairly rare camera and while it was the camera I learned manual exposure on I never use it now. If you're a Nikon collector and want a Nikkorex to round out a collection of the early Nikon bodies I'd trade it to you... for any working Nikkormat F-series (FT, FS, FTN, FT2, FT3), preferring FT2 but your option. Conditions: I pay shipping on my end, you pay shipping on yours. Both cameras are body only, no lens.

Some of the slow speeds are slow, everything else works perfectly, some dust in the finder like most old SLR's but very clear image. No clipon meter, never had it.

I have a very nice Nikkormat FTn that I contemplate selling. We're on different sides of the pond though.

Later today I will, yeah

Yeah, I should have said domestic shipping only. Hope you sell it! I have a Nikkormat FTn already that I very much like but it has issues.

Thanks, you too. I might put it up for sale here. I have no ide what they go for these days though so there's some research to be done

Mine was an anomaly at 10 USD (they literally didn't know anything about cameras). It seems like on that one auction site a Nikkormat body in great shape can break 80 or 90 USD, minor issues around 60 USD and major issues (eg, meter erratic, battery corroded shut, et cet) would be about 30-40 USD. Forgive me, the exchange rate to BPS (?) must have changed since I last knew what it was.

As far as the Nikkorex F goes it's a little less technically impressive but a collector who wants a complete set of Nikon bodies might feel a dinged up Nikkormat to be a fair trade, especially if like many collectors they have several Nikkormat bodies of each type. As far as I know the Nikkorex F goes for about 60 USD in body only sales.

Thank you for the info
I hope you find a good one!
