OK, continuing clearing a bit the stuff at home...
I recently bought this backpack as a way to get a proper "hiking" pack that would allow me to carry my cameras safer and access them more easily... BUT, when it came I realized that even though the backpack is super comfortable and quite well thought through, it simply won't fit my needs camera-wise. The bootom compartment access from side is perhaps most suited for a (d)SLR or a 645 camera, the inner pouch would be OK for some longer lenses or film boxes/flashes/stuff. the external top front pocket is fine for filters / cable releases and similar stuff... Besides all this there is plenty of room for outdoorsy stuff like a jacket, some food... it has a separate compartment for a water bladder, so that even in case of a leak your camera would stay safe..
What cameras I use that don't fit? I often walk with a fuji GSW 680, it would squeeze in the bottom compartment, but awkwardly. I tried to pack my LF kit in int, it would be useable - eg. have the holders in the side-accessed compartment, but I returned to my simple chinese insert in a regular backpack.. you could put a hasselblad into the bottom compartment, but I don(t use it that often.
One rather clever thing are the tripod holders that are hidden when you don't use them...
Soo, anyway, this bag - did I say it is NEW? OK i did try it for various setups but only at home/around the house. I never laid it on the ground in the woods or any such thing.
For 80 EUR, it could be yours. Any takers?
