I've figured a bleach ratio to clear Kodachrome to near-perfect BW negatives while they're wet (like zero color mask, crystal clear frame markers) However, I've noticed that after drying the negatives become much darker. Not as dark as before but not nearly as clear while wet.

Can anyone think of a solution for this? re-fix?

Thanks,
FO

FO, from what I understand, you want to remove (reduce) the fog of color negative.
From reddish yellow to become closer to white?
Here is an amendment of dyes formed in negative.
I do this with positive color.
The print film goes an acidic solution (H2SO4) and according to the pH at which dries film
picture will get out openly.
Careful! the film does not wash after acid solution.
You must test your negative on work to see how various concentrations of acid and colour.

In connection with the silver particle in the film they are in undeveloped film.
In phase bleaching and fixing them removed the silver particle.
