Cleaning Toyo D45M

Hi,

Just received a Toyo D45M, marking my first foray into large format. Its a beautiful camera, but has a lot of accumulated grime and grit. I'd like to really clean it all up and would greatly appreciate any reccomendations for solutions or materials before I get started. Its almost all metal, geared, and with plastic knobs, and the bellows are in great shape.

For metal "Never-Dull" works pretty well you should see how it changes the appearance of a 100 yr old shutter. I picked up a can @ Wally world, but it can be found a auto parts stores. Bellows & soft bits I've used 409 or Fantastik applied to a cloth, not directly to the camera.

For metal "Never-Dull" works pretty well...

Never heard of the stuff, but it worked fantastically. Went over the more grimy areas first with an alcohol soaked swab, and then the Never-Dull over everything. Other than the spots where the finish has worn off or been nicked the camera now looks brand new.
