Cleaning the glass on an Epson V700

Any one done this? Mine is a bit, well cloudy I think is the best word. And a lot is on the inside. Plastic outgassing I'm guessing.

Anyway, am I crazy, should I take it to the dealer or what?

If you are going to do it yourself, you might find the diagrams and links I posted here to be helpful. The link with 4990 pictures is pretty close to what you find on the V7xx.
