I'm looking a project that I shot cc1972 with Kodachrome II. Maybe 100 slides.
The film's in good shape but the original cardboard mounts intrude a little into the image area...I shot tight using Nikon FTn so the edges intrude a little into the image are...
...was OK for slide projection but now I want to scan, eliminating the fuzzy and rounded intrusive edges that are standard with Kodak cardboard mounts.
I'm OK with peeling the mounts apart but I know I'll want to clean leftover crud that they left all-around and in those rounded corners. I will remount as I go, using GEPE glassless mounts (unless you have better suggestion)
What film cleaner chem has worked well for you with Kodachrome II?
Do you use a special kind of wiping pad?
