Could anybody advise any options to use instead of original Noritsu cleaning leaders:

H089032-00- 135cleaning leader
H089030-00- 120cleaning leader

They are rather expensive but what is worse - hard to find when you need them.
Only a few pro stores are selling these and all of them are not in our part of the world.
http://labparts.jp/ - the usual source to Noritsu scanner parts is down-dead (maybe somebody knows/advice why?).

The general idea of just a leader with some sticky substance looks promising to implement DIY-style.
We usually use 120 and then cut them to use with 135 mm - that helps to save some money.

I think that some other industry operations might use the same technology to clean rollers and this material might be available to buy in bulk to cut by hand to Noritsu size?

If you have Facebook account, go to "Noritsu Scanner Users" group. I'm pretty sure there were some alternatives mentioned for cleaning leaders...
