My Epson R3000 sometimes leaves black ink residue or tracks outside the image area. Is there a solvent that I can use that would clean the ink without making a mess or damaging the paper surface? I know I should try cleaning the paper path==and I will next time--but I am trying to salvage some prints I have already made. With the cost (and limited availability) of ink and paper, I hope there is a worthwhile way to do this.

I don’t know if it will help you now but I had a print that had a bit of ink outside the image on matte surface paper that I was able to remove with some old typewriter correction tape that I happened to have in my desk The ink probably wasn’t completely dry but it also worked on some other prints all on matte surface paper. I just rubbed with a finger nail and the ink was gone.
