I have some Schneider componon Lens that need to be cleaned. They have an internal haze inside. My question is how do I get into them to clean them?? Is there a tool kit that can be bought to open them??

I have an 80 and a 150mm

Thank You

Dan

For the newer -S versions, hold the shell and grab the optics sticking out the back and unscrew them. Then loosen the retaining ring and remove to take the shell apart.

The metal ones are similar, the rear lens cell is removed and you can clean it and the rear element of the front cell thru the iris. If there is haze in the front part, you remove the trim ring and the front element. Then clean.
