I have just received a nice N90 with an MF-26 back. The rubber coating on much of the MF-26 is well on the way to the “goo” stage. Does anyone have experience of cleaning this off? What are safe liquids to use? I believe this is not a uniquely Nikon problem but also affects grips on some Canon EOS cameras and may be others as well.
