I am not sure if I have placed this on the forum before but by accident I discovered a cleaning agent that just dissolves the tar on Nova print Processors much better than any proprietary preparation I know of. Whats more it is far cheaper too..
I use a dilute solution of phosphoric acid obtainable from auto spares and tool shops (Machine Mart in UK). A litre bottle costs about £5 ($8). Applied with a brush or lightly sprayed on then brushed, the tar just simply melts away. Absolutely incredible. An additional benefit being, there is no strong toxic smell that you get with the cleaner supplied by Nova Darkroom. You still need to wear gloves but no mask is necessary.
