I would like to use this developer at 1:14 dilution at 75F in Jobo 25xx tanks and 2502 reels on my Jobo. Given that 2 rolls of 120 film can be spooled onto one 2502 reel, and that my 2523 tank, for example, states that 270ml solution is needed... Does anyone know what the minimum amount of the actual F76+ developer is needed to properly develop the square inches of two 120 rolls? Per Jobo's required minimum solution volume, I'm looking at 18ml of the developer concentrate. I e-mailed Lowell at Clayton Chemical with this same question, but haven't heard anything back.

Thank you for any help provided.

“F76 Plus FILM DEVELOPER is ideal for automatic machine processing, replenished with working solution, prepared by diluting concentrate 1+4 to 1+5, at the rate of 0.4 ml/sq.in. film.”

Going from this it uses about 0.1 mL STOCK / sq. in of film. If a roll of film is about 80 sq. in. use 8mL per roll.

8mL X 14 = 112mL of water (and the 8mL of stock) = 120mL diluted developer PER each 120 roll of film.

Since I got 120 as the answer it “must be correct ?”
