Then they have a 55mm f1.8 Super Takumar for 399.82 also described as for "ES, ESII, Spotmatic F, S1a, SPII, SV, SP, SP 1000, H3V, Honeywell, SP 500...etc.
My only real experience is with 35mm SLR.
Seems like in just the last year, or maybe two, prices Have gone up quite a bit.
The worst offenders seem to be the "fast" 35mm and 85MM lens...especially 85mm.
I must admit, it pisses me off when i see guys with expensive Modern/Digital cameras, and they are using "my" lenses.!
They are probably saying just the opposite......."Oh Boy, a nice 85/1.8 for a paltry 300 dollars".
"A paltry 300 dollars."
That's about right, for an unexperienced dilletante.
My Summitar, which has flawless glass and coatings, came with the correct front cap, SOOPT(?) Barndoor hood, an original seeming rear cap, and some bad separation in the front cemented doublet - for $150 shipped.
The lens, with hood, worked well with the separation.
After I recemented it, it became my favorite RF lens.
That is a really nice lens, I picked one up for about £40 a few years back and although the F1.4 gets all the plaudits I really like the F1.8, it produces really nice bokeh and colour. £99 is a bit steep but not ridiculously so if it's in excellent condition.

The going price on Ebay.co.uk is usually around £40 for the lens, I'd agree it's probably the nicest of the Pentax standard lenses, I never noticed any difference between the Super Takumar and later SMC Takumar versions I used both alongside each other.
I'm not sure how VAT works on used equipment, but in US no tax or import duties due on things bought on Ebay . No tax on buying over the Internet out of state.
In the EU basically on everything imported from outside the EU a custom duty and VAT is put upon, non withstanding whether from buying from a private seller or a store. However for both duty and VAT different threshold values apply.
Within Germany on sales of used goods from a store VAT is applied too. But on a different calculation basis, which makes it about 50% of standard VAT.
