This is the classic 7½" Packard shutter with 4" opening commonly found in the giant Studio Portrait Cameras like Agfa and Century #9 and larger with the 4" hole that can accommodate the gigantic Portrait Petzvals. 8" 9" and 10" lens boards is where this is at home.

I have opened this one up and refurbished and cleaned it so that it is working perfectly and dependably every time it is cycled. It's the one that you put a "pin" in for "Instant" speed where it opens and closes itself in 1/20th second. Or for longer exposures, take the pin out and it stays open until you create a vacuum with the bulb and close it on command. This one has the built in flash sync. closure if needed. Any bent finish nail makes a perfect "pin" for this. These are uncommon now, so don't let this one get away. Bulb and tubing is included. Ready to work.
