The good:
  1. Shutter works, but speeds have not been lab tested for accuracy on this 50+ year-old body
  2. Film Advance OK
  3. Film Rewind OK
  4. Self-Timer OK
  5. Viewfinder OK
  6. Depth-of-Field control OK
  7. Mirror Lock-Up OK
  8. No corrosion in battery compartment
The not so good:
  1. Light meter untested because I don't have the proper battery
  2. I recommend new light seals
  3. I recommend a new mirror pad
  4. The plastic tip on the advance lever is missing.
Body $35 + $8 shipping

I have this exact kit and I'll be damned if the shutter speeds are within 25% range. It is a very robust shutter mechanism. Good luck with the sale, these are really extraordinary bodies and lenses.

I already have two of these or I'd bite. I would strongly suggest the buyer contact John Titterington to overhaul the camera. The camera would come back in perfect working condition. That is a much better route than buying an SRT-101 on ebay for much more than this one and then finding out it needs the same number of repairs or worse. Both of my SRT-101's were overhauled by John and I also bought an immaculate SRT-201 from him. He has very reasonable fees and does excellent work.
