I currently have a listing on ebay for a Nikon F w/eye-level finder F36 motor drive, cordless battery pack and Nikkor lens.
Someone just messaged saying there’s an error in the listing, and “This is an Apollo without the terminal connecting cable and a mismatched motor drive”.
Honestly I have no idea, so I’m turning to this forum for help! What do you think?
"Apollo" simply refers to a later F with plastic-tipped self timer lever and wind lever, but was never regarded as a different model. But in the case of yours, you've got the older-style wind lever so I'm not sure what I'd call it. Am guessing that the original ST lever was lost at some point and got replaced with a newer-style spare. Not an expert on motor drives, but it certainly looks about what I'd expect.
Thank you! I just don’t want to mislead people or worse, sell it to someone who gets irate because it’s not what they were expecting. (I need to figure out how to word my ads: “if there’s inconsistency between these words/details in the ad and the photos, go with the photos!)
