CLA techs for Rollei

I think you are right . I appreciate your reply. I do need to get the focus hood repaired/replaced since it was damaged by Customs when they did their security check. Can’t take any photos with the damaged hood. I could try to force it open each time, but thinking the better solution is to purchase a new focus hood.

You can take pictures without the hood, at least to see if the rest of the camera is working. Zone focus, shoot a generic scene where you don't have to worry about the composition -- even a wall at a known distance will work.

I would suggest checking with Koh’s Camera for a replacement hood/finder. Jimmy Koh was a long-time Rollei tech (now retired from repair business I believe), and his website shows some Rollei parts with a note to call for anything specific.
