3D Trick is at the down , read carefully please .

I had been explained a camera.

A - One film and one empty spool
B - There is a vertical slit between them.
C - Someone walks at the street and turn the cranck of the empty spool.
D - Film moves from its cassette to empty spool .
E - By this way slit expose the film continiously.

If you walk with the speed of crowded people and if the film moves with the peoples walking speed ,

you record meters long film without shutter mechanism.

The 3D Trick : When walking with this camera , If you record a object , car , crowd , building from many angles - this is a cinema camera and it records these many angles pictures continiously - you can create 3 D files with this camera like an stereo camera.

haha

What you describe is a kind of photo-finish camera, but moved (relative slowly) around.
But I do not understand that 3D effect, you are talking about.

Let me try to explain how 3D works ,
As you know 3D stereo cameras work on angle difference principal. There are two lenses and two pictures , you load them to pc and get the 3D print file. Than you look to the print with a google.
At cinema , there is the same principle , there are countless photographs stream on screen.
Some movie episodes are special , for example , you can put your camera on to a tripod , and an automobile cross in front of camera. Camera records many frames with many angles . If you compute with these different angled frames , you get the 3D file.
Slit scan camera is using this principle.
