Has anyone seen this video of a Hermagis Objectif projection lens mounted to a Hasselblad 500 via a converter?

I can't find any information on this and am interested in how it works.

Either this adapter has a shutter in it (doubtful) or she has no control over her exposure.

Has anyone ever designed a shuttered solution to this type of conversion?

cheers.

No shutter in that barrel. If it fits a 500 it will fit a 2000. Useless on a 500.

Three ways to use a lens in barrel with a shutter. Camera with focal plane shutter. Shutter behind the lens. I hang a variety of lenses in front of Compur/Copal #1 and Ilex #3 shutters. There are also roller blind shutters that a lens can be hung in front of. Shutter in front of the lens. This is one of the classic applications of roller blind shutters. Thornton-Pickard, for example. I use a Compound #5 (leaf shutter, not roller blind) in front of a 900/10 Apo-Saphir.

Hi Dan,

How would one go about operating the camera set behind a shutter (leaf or roller blind)? I'm assuming you'd fire the Hasselblad first in B mode then fire the shutter while the Hasselblad is still engaged.

Also have you ever set one of these shutters in front of a hasselblad? Are there any adapaters available or did you have to machine them?

I don't have a 'blad. I use front mounted lenses on Graphics and on a Cambo. On a Speed Graphic, a front-mounted lens is used like a lens in shutter. Open back shutter, use the front shutter. On a Crown/Century Graphic or a view camera, a lens hung in front of a shutter is also used just like a lens in shutter.

Apropos of 'blads, I've never felt the need for one. I use a 38/4.5 Biogon in Copal #0 on a Century Graphic, shoot from tripod and work slowly so don't need an SLR with other focal lengths.
