Where can I go for quality Cibachome printing? Is there a lab that is well known for this anymore?

Pretty Much...Good Luck! I have not seen a quality Ciba Lab in about 5 years now..

Try The Lightroom in CA... www.lightroom.com

I used this company to do some larger prints (30"x40") that I had previously had done on Ilfochrome (Ilfochrome only comes in sheet sizes now)... The customer service and such was fine, but the new LightJet process onto the Fuji Archival Super-Gloss paper is not even close in terms of resolution to the older Ilfochrome prints I still had on hand... Color was an okay match...

both do the very finest work in my opinion.

There is a lab in my hometown (Perth, West Australia) that still do Cibachrome: Churchills Colorlab at www.churchillcolorlabs.com.au/

there is always Apuger Bob Carnies' lab http://elevatordigital.ca/ I have seen the work produced there and it is excellent.

Where are you from? Jim Brick, the moderator of the pure-silver lists, does cibas. He does them from his studio as well as does them for Keeble and Schchat in Palo Alto.

I use a company located in Flagstaff, Arizona.

There are two guys that own and operate the company. One prints color and the other black and white. These guys are awesome. I have been in the business of photography for awhile and I have never found a more custom lab. If you are serious about the final print, you need to contact these guys.

I have been using them for two years and have been very happy.

I looked long and hard to find a lab that is remotly economical compaired to the rest and I came up with Visual Imaging. Dead Link Removed They have done great work for me but they have a turn around of about a month. I don't mind the wait.
