Cibachrome drums in a Jobo processor

Has anyone ever tried to use, or adapt for use, Ciba's drums for use in one of the Jobo rotary processors? Can the magnets, or cogs wheels be attached?
I'm trying to conserve chemistry, and I know the Ciba drums use less for the same size prints than the Jobo drums.

I thought the ciba process used more chemicals then the Jobo drums required? I don't know the Jobos use so little. What is it 60ml for two 8x10s?

It's not the drums that 'use' then chemicals but the paper. Both drums are basically tubes to hold the paper against the sides, you use the same amount of chemicals in either.

I picked up a 16X20 Cibachrome Drum II on ebay a couple of years for black and white processing using a Beseler Uniroller. It is about the same diameter as the Beseler tubes - bigger than the small Jobo tubes but much smaller than the Jobo tube for 16X20. You would need to adapt the roller mechanism on the Jobo to hold it (or build a substitute). The base also has a different design. You would need to make a special adapter plate to accept the Jobo magnetic coupler. The Cibachorme tube probably could not be adapted for use with the Jobo lift. It would probably be much cheaper and easier to buy the Jobo tubes.

What volume of chemicals does it use? IIRC the 16x20 Jobo drum [2850] uses 200ml I think. BTW it's longer but the same diameter of the other 2800 type drums. Has to be. It's really a 2830 drum with an extension added.

I just re-read my original Ilford and Jobo instructions, and the 20x24 uses 570ml. in any brand of drum...oopps
