I am in need of some freezer space, so I just moved out all of this "paper" (actually more like plastic). It is a small freezer's worth that came along with some chemicals and black and white paper that I bought on Craigslist, and I can't imagine the next time I will get around to Ilfochrome printing to try out this old material.

I have several boxes and packets of this paper, 8x10 and 11x14. Most are opened and partially used.

Ciba printing material is not known to age well, so you cannot expect to get "good" prints with this. It may not even work at all! I planned on pinholin' with the paper, but never got around to it.

However, if there is any interest despite the keeping properties of Ilfochrome, let me know, and I will inventory the stuff. If no interest, it is getting trashed.

Once I get it inventoried, and if anyone wants it, I would consider a small trade in exchange (some film or whatever), or even $$$ if you are feeling generous. In any case, the taker is responsible for shipping, and agrees to take it as is with the understanding that it may not work at all.

Why don't you open up the boxes, take pictures to show the sheets in the boxes, and sell it on ebay?

I'm interested but slightly slower than others. I just want a box or two to play around with.

I'd LOVE to have some! I have an unopened Ilfochrome P30 kit of unknown vintage that may or may not work, and I have wanted to get some paper to try it on...

There's a thread started on creating a supplement dye bleach somewhere. I still need paper though.

Wow! More interest than I thought for hopelessly out of date paper.

I foolishly forgot to mention one of the most important facts: These are OPENED and INCOMPLETE boxes!

I will go through tonight and count what is left.

Be very careful with the bleach with old chemistry.

I got six liters of the stuff, but none of it was usable. The bleach powder had actually liquefied in the bags and had started eating (burning) through the metal bag! Lucky for the fact that the bleach pouches were made double layered, with a layer of plastic on top of the foil.

Make sure you dispose of your stuff at the proper facility!

I couldn't care less. I just want a few sheets to play with without spending $300 on a new box of 8x10.

Never made it to the loading room tonight to inventory the envelope packs. I am beat, and need to get some sleep. I will get to it tomorrow night. However, I did inventory the boxes last night. Here is what I have:

11x14:

1. 37 bagged sheets of Ilford Cibachrome-A, CRCA.44M (pearl, medium weight), process P-30, use before Jan. 1989, box has mild water damage from the previous owner's fridge, but printing material feels fine

2. 35 bagged sheets of Ilford Cibachrome-A CRCA.44M (pearl, medium weight), process P-30, use before Nov. 1985, box has major water damage and two split corners from the previous owner's fridge, but printing material feels fine

3. 7 bagged sheets of Ilford Cibachrome-A CRCA.44M (pearl, medium weight), process P-30, use before Nov. 1988, box has a medium amount of water damage from the previous owner's fridge, but is still holding together, and the printing material feels fine

4. 14 unbagged sheets (end cards are there, however) of Ilford Cibachrome Print CCP-D 182, process P-10 or P-18, no expiration date, box in good condition with no water damage

8x10:

1. 50 sheets in sealed bag of Ilford Cibachrome, Cibachrome-A CCP-A 95U (RC pearl), box water damaged, but printing material is fine. Original price $53.90 in 1980s bucks, OUCH! ()

2.a. 6 bagged sheets of Ilford Cibachrome Type A CCP-A 182U (glossy, low contrast), box in good condition (will be combined with below item)

2.b. 13 bagged sheets of Ilford Cibachrome Type A CCP-A 182U (glossy, low contrast), box in good condition (will be combined with above item)

2.c. A few (approximately 6) test strips and smaller scraps, Ilford Cibachrome Type A CCP-A 182U (glossy, low contrast), box in good condition (will be combined with above two items)

3. 30 bagged sheets of Ilford Cibachrome-A CRCA.44M (pearl, medium weight), process P-30, use before Mar. 1984, box in good condition

4. 38 bagged sheets of Ilford Cibachrome-A CRCA.44M (pearl, medium weight), process P-30, use before Sep. 1984, box in good condition

5. 38 bagged sheets of Ilford Cibachrome-A CRCA.44M (pearl, medium weight), process P-30, use before Jan. 1993 (oooooh! A new one! ), box in good condition

6. 22 bagged sheets of Ilford Ilfochrome Classic Paper CPM.1M (glossy, medium weight, medium contrast), use before Sep. 1995 (oooh la la! Another FRESH one! ), box in good condition

Envelope packs yet to be counted:

1. Three 20-sheet envelopes of Ilford Cibachrome, Cibachrome-A CCP-A 95U (RC pearl), original price $25.16 each in 1980s bucks, OUCH! (), all three feel pretty full, but will get an exact count tomorrow

2. Two 20-sheet envelopes of Ilford Cibachrome Type A CCP-A 182U (glossy, low contrast), one envelope has only one sheet, so I am just going to put that sheet into the other one

NONE OF THIS can be guaranteed to produce ANYTHING! It OLD and SMELL BAD!!! I don't know why there is so much interest! .....but, let me know what you think via PM.

BUMP

Deal for the lot never went through. The inventory still stands as previously listed.

Any interest at all?

What is a good price? 50 cents a sheet for 8x10? I have no idea. Make an offer. If you want the whole lot, it would be GREAT!

Well, apparently he's not selling the stuff to me. Must have been a higher, later bidder. So be it, it's not worth $100+ to me.
