I have just finished reading Mike Ware's newly published “The Chrysotype Manual”, and want to start printing chrysotypes again, which I have not done for some time.
Is there anybody else also interested in chrysotypes, practicing them? Has anybody also read Mike Ware's new book, and is trying out its instructions? I would be quite interested in an exchange about involved practices, colour parameters, humidification methods, and the like.
Mike describes new versions of his process which I find very intriguing, and want to try. I have been practising chrysotypes for a number of years, but seem to have gained quite some new insights into the process.

Tony,

(this is the "official" reply) it is really nice to see you also on this forum, you certainly represent an enrichment to it.

Which version of the process are you using? I suppose also the four-bottle one?

I found I use less gold than before since going by the insructions of the manual.

You mentioned the "green chrysotype"; do I understand you mean the one without alkali?
