Chromium Intensifier for prints?

I've been playing with it, the look is really cool with some papers, kind of a deep/cool charcoal tone. What's the word on longevity though? We use the stuff on our negs, but they're not living out in the light and air like prints are.

Is there any benefit to following chromium with selenium or gold?
