Chromega D Dichro lamp

I lost power to the enlarging lamp but not the fan or filter lamp. I thought the bulb was gone but I replaced it (250 W, 24 V) and nothing happened except I tripped the Power Interrupt outlet it is all plugged into. That reset, my voltmeter does not record any output from the connector.

I am trying to trace the connector wire back but cannot see how to get beyond the inside wall of the housing. There doesn't seem a clear path from outside the housing.....

Does anyone know this lamp-house well enough to suggest what I might do?

I'm quite sure it is not a Tower.

Yes, that is what I was calling the Power Tower. It is just a transformer in the lower box. (The Chrometagrol says "Chromegatrol" on the front).
