Just moving through some of my old papers on art history. No many pages on Chinese art. However I just noticed I never saw a sculpture of whole human body in chinese art. On side teracotes from war time, but I think about faithfullness as in e.g. roman sclpture, or any other western country. Some Eastern countries, e.g. Russia are limited to sculpture as an idol defined in The Bible, so I can understant it. But how about Chinese art. I can guess the reason if no human's sculture is made in Chinese art but anyone here with wider knowledge on the matter.
