My daughter (now 22) was home for a couple of days last week, and the first thing she said was,"Dad, can we go work in the darkroom?"

sigh

(ok ok... truth be known, she wanted some of her own stuff printed, but still. )

My 8 year old daughter come's into the darkroom with me, she has her own Nikon film camera.
once she has taken her photo's she loads the developing tank, and developes her film, then prints them, the only thing I do for her is set the enlarger.
I think it is great that a child at that age takes an interest in something you have to do yourself, and is not instant like digital.
Must point out that there is never anytime she is on her own, I am with her.
