I have a big sized brass lens printed with- "Photographe a Verres Combine's
Invente par Charles Chevalier Ingenieur Arthur Chevalier Fils et Sue
Palais Royal 158 Paris"

How rare is this lens? Does anyone have this type of lens I checked the whole of the net but did see any info about this lens. Hope to hear from you'll.
Thanks

If you have the flange, all parts (cone shaped) and is in good shape - a SUPER rare lens with value in the $ 10,000 - $ 20,000 range...possibly more.....have a photo?

If chevlier's lenses were good enough for J.M. Daguere, They ought to be good enough for anybody, right? I'm hinting that if you look at photographs of Daguerotypes, let alone seeing the real thing, you'll know why these artifacs are so valuable.
