Specifically asking for the salts used in the process, ammonium bromide, ammonium iodide etc. They have been stored for the past 7 eyars in a cool dry place. Are there any tests other than mixing a final solution of whatever to test? Thanks!

Too much caking/clumping indicates that they are damp and should probably be replaced.
