Your photo dialed back -1EV, and with tint adjustment away from Green and toward Magenta more.
Yes much thanks wiltw - I know...
! Let me state I shot around 5 - 6 Films with her (can't quite
remember the exact number). But from this shot there might be around 8 frames!
If I remember correct (so around) min. 3 or 4 frames had ~ correct values!
No I made no exposure series but with E6 I often make additional shots!
Here I made some shots from higher exposure (light also changed) the difference between full
sunlight and some cloudy sunlight wich may change after some seconds is around 1E.V. one have
to know! With rainy clouds it can be much more!
I also should add these complete shooting was made with Pentax67 and Pentax messurement =
quite good values from the electronic! But with my Nikon35mm I allways love a 28mm Nikon manuel lens from old type!
Portrait with 28mm wide shot lens? Yes I know a 85mm a 100mm or a 135mm is more common!
But who cares about? I shot 300mm with 120 film and 28mm with the Nikon!
But then I am shooting full manual exposure with Nikon (Camera display indecates : f 5.6 -----)
And : " --------" is the shutter speed the Nikon messurement is sugesting
!
No problem for me!
But I am not allways looking what is going on with clouds every 3 seconds
!
At last the shots here (with correct exposure are looking not so bad
- but
they are also not "1A" !
Sorry I have no scan from the correct ones! But I decided via inspection from slide projection
against correct exposure frames ! So the + 1 E.V. is intended (a colleguage stated it dramatical to me - he said : " That what you shot here is just "NOTHING"
? That is not even a high
key shot - it is just an overexposure"
!!!
Well but he has not to feel fine with but I have to feel fine - and I did and do
!
But (interisting btw.) the correction you have made looks also fine!
with regards
PS : Intention from using the overexposure (instead the correct one) was to me the
" color corespondence of the grass and the clothes" sometimes exact this is made from
post processing! But that (post processing) is not my job
...an assistent of a industry and
architecture photographer is sitting whole nights with "Lightroom" correction for his boss!
What stated his boss? " Boy you made it fine - it's your job"
(his boss is drinking beer
than - not the whole night) hope!
PPS : Also the shot # 1 OP made could look good with -1 E.V. correct exposure ! Then it is a technical fine shot! But regarding the composing(framing) his shot looks quite normal!
From my point the highlighted lemons (at a max. of "white") " shines" more interisting from my
point! That can give that shot the "something special" what the shot (from my point ) have a need of : Therefore my statement to shot # 1 = " why not "
!
