They got to their goal within a day, and then some. Full disclosure, I have used their prototypes (which are actually a bit more primitive than this version shown), and it has been a fantastic way to scan full rolls of 35mm film with a digital camera.
It is and it isn't. All depends on the number of negatives to scan.
The webpage also mentions positives. However, like most people, my positives are mounted in 2" x 2" cardboard. If they had a batch feed solution for all my slides, then I would sell my Nikon 5000 ED scanner right away, Until then, I'm going to keep using it.
