In January, the site had over 100,000 hits. The email will go out to our list on Sunday night or Monday.

It's an honor to be included among so many excellent photographers. The work of the photographers on this board never ceases to impress me. The reason I submitted was because Fraction seems like a thoughtful and serious effort at a new magazine. David--is the APUG show going to be part of Issue #6 or are you moving away from "Issues" and towards adding content on a periodic basis? Thanks!

Fraction does a "feature" issue on the odd months of the year, then we do a "group show" on the even months. So this work will be up for about 60 days and will still be there when issue 6 goes out in March. The plan is to have guest curators do the group shows.

We are making a real effort to make it a serious site. We also want it to have a look.

It's also led to some other things, such a portfolio reviews, which I am grateful to do.

Our email list is gallery / photo editor heavy, which is a very good thing.

Choosing the work was not easy because I had to limit it. If I could have, I would have picked 50 images. The work that was posted was really top notch.

Geez, I'm glad I didn't have to be the one to make the choices here! There was such wonderful work for consideration. I'm grateful and humbled to have been selected, and I'm really impressed by the variety and depth of the portfolio. Well done, David.

Great selection of photos. I can imagine it must have been difficult making the choices!
