Cheapest MF digital back?

What system out there has the cheapest digital backs available? Currently looking into the Bronica 6x6 and Hasselbad systems. Im specifically looking for something that has a medium format ish sized sensor, thinking of a video project

Resolution isnt really an issue as long as its larger than ~4-6mp

"MF digital back" has a total different meaning on this forum.

I didnt see a MF section in there, and I plan to use the camera mainly with film

Well as long as its here.

Many backs fit many different camera systems.

The Hartblei camera takes many diff kinds of digital backs so it should also take film backs - it's MF with Canon EF lenses, as many Canon lenses cover medium format or bigger than 35mm, such as the 17mm TS-E that does so still with movements without vignetting.

No MF digital backs do video.

See what the Fuji MF back fits on, its ~20mp, and it's the same tech as the S5 Pro, which means 14 stops, it's got that +2 stops of overexposure latitude.


There are also back adapters for various cameras.


The modelmayhem.com forums would probably get the most answers with people with experience with digital MF backs.

The largest ($40k-$80k) backs are only 645. All the rest are about 40mm on the long side, which means you want to get the smallest MF body with the shortest, sharpest and fastest lenses available if you intend to use a digital back. A 6x7 for example would be silly as the lenses will generally be too long and too slow.
